Use the Worksheet Tool

Use SchoolAI to create worksheets on any subject.

Updated over a week ago

Crafting worksheets that are engaging and aligned to curriculum standards doesn’t have to be difficult or take up a lot of your lesson-planning time.

Go to Tools > Worksheet > Generate to create a new worksheet. When creating one, it’s important to remember:

  • After your worksheet is generated, you can use AI Tools to take it a step further. Just highlight text and relevant options will be available through the AI Tools button

  • The document is saved as you go, so you don’t need to worry about computer crashes or navigating away

After you generate a worksheet, it will appear in a text editor for you to make changes, share, or export. You can refine your prompt to regenerate the worksheet if you need to take a different approach.

To create a worksheet:

  1. Go to Tools > Worksheet > Generate

  2. Enter the prompts required and upload supporting documentation if you’d like, then choose Generate

  3. The worksheet will appear in a text editor. You can make changes to the worksheet: highlight text and apply new AI Tools or press the backslash (/) key on your keyboard to open the options menu

  4. The worksheet will save as you go. When the worksheet is done, you can share it through a link, export it as a PDF, or export it to a Google Docs or Google Classroom

Remember, the worksheet that SchoolAI generates should be used as a first draft. Reviewing and customizing the document is important to make sure it works for your classroom.

Options menu

When you’re editing a document, use the backslash key to open the options menu. You can generate AI text or images, charts, tables, bullets/numbers, and more.

To find worksheets you’ve created:

Worksheets you’ve created can be found and edited by going to Tools > Worksheets > [Number] documents.

To rename, duplicate, or delete a document, select the three dot menu. You can also search by document title.

When you select a document to edit it, you’re editing the only version of it on SchoolAI. Consider making a duplicate of a worksheet if you need different versions.
