Use the Time Based Activity Tool

SchoolAI creates time-based exercises designed for any subject or learning level.

Updated this week

Time-based activities help students manage their time effectively and can enhance focus and productivity. Here are some examples of what SchoolAI can generate for your classroom:

  • Timed quizzes: Students complete questions within a set time limit, encouraging quick thinking and reinforcing knowledge

  • Stations or rotations: Students move through different activities or learning centers, spending a fixed amount of time at each station

  • Writing sprints: Students write continuously for a set period, focusing on getting ideas down without editing

  • Debates or discussions: Each participant has a limited time to present their arguments or points

To use the Time Based Activity Tool

  1. Go to Tools > Time Based Activity > Generate

  2. Enter the prompts required and upload supporting documentation if you’d like, then choose Generate.

  3. The activities will appear in a text editor. You can make changes: highlight text and apply new AI Tools or press the backslash (/) key on your keyboard to open the options menu

  4. The document will save as you go. When you’re done, you can share it through a link, export it as a PDF, or export it to a Google Docs or Google Classroom

Remember, the time-based activities that SchoolAI generates should be used as a first draft. Reviewing and customizing what you’ve built is important to make sure it works for the specific student.
