SchoolAI can help you support students and families who speak other languages.
To use the Text Translator Tool
Go to Tools > Text Translator > Generate
Choose a language and enter the text that needs translation. Choose Generate. (At this time, uploading attachments to translate will not work)
The translated text will appear in a text editor. You can make changes: highlight text and apply new AI Tools (including further translations) or press the backslash (/) key on your keyboard to open the options menu
The translated document will save as you go. When you’re done, you can share it through a link, export it as a PDF, or export it to a Google Docs or Google Classroom.
Generative AI can occasionally struggle translating complex sentences, informal phrases, and nuanced language understanding, especially in less common languages. Reviewing and customizing what you’ve built is important to make sure it works for your use.

To translate text in a document
You may want to translate just a bit of text in an existing document on SchoolAI rather than translate a block of text. Or you may want to add to your translated document in your own language, then translate it.
