Google Classroom Integration

Connect Google Classroom to get personalized space recommendations and easy launching of spaces to students

SchoolAI is an innovative platform designed to help teachers and students make school awesome. By connecting your Google Classroom to SchoolAI, you can unlock powerful features that save you time and make it easier for students to access learning activities.

Why connect your Google Classroom?

  1. Personalized Content Recommendations: SchoolAI analyzes your class information to suggest relevant content, saving you time searching for the right space. For example, if you're teaching a 9th-grade biology class, SchoolAI might recommend a space about cell division or one about genetics.
  2. Seamless Student Access: Launch SchoolAI spaces directly to your Google Classroom, eliminating the need for access codes. This means less time spent on tech support and more time learning.
  3. Automatic Participating Tracking: When students join a SchoolAI space from Google Classroom, their participation is automatically recorded. this feature simplifies your grading process and provides valuable insights into student engagement.

How to connect Google Classroom

You can connect your Google Classroom in three ways:

  1. During initial SchoolAI onboarding, by clicking the Google Classroom option on the Connect your LMS screen
  2. From the My Integration page in settings, by clicking the "+ Add Integration" button and selecting Google Classroom
  3. When launching a space, by clicking Google Classroom

The connection process is the same for all methods. 

Integration Flow
Once you click on the Google Classroom button, you will be asked to grant SchoolAI access to your Google Classroom. 

You'll then be asked what classes you want to connect.

Launching a Space from Google Classroom

Once connected, you can easily share SchoolAI spaces with your students. When launching a space, select Google Classroom from the ways to invite your students.

Select the class and provide a description or instructions.

You can find the draft assignment in your Google Classroom's Classwork tab. 

Troubleshooting

  • If you don't see your classes, ensure you're logged into the correct Google account.
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google Classroom on the Integrations page in settings.
  • If you still are having issues, reach out to SchoolAI Support.
